About 8(a) STARS III

The General Services Administration (GSA) 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS) III, a small business set-aside Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is a pre-competed, easy-to-use contract with streamlined ordering procedures which provides flexible access to customized information technology solutions from a large, diverse pool of 8(a) industry partners. With a $50 Billion program, 8(a) STARS III allows for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements. 8(a) STARS III offers access to multiple types of task orders including fixed price, time and materials, labor hour, and blended task order types. 8(a) STARS III allows for directed (sole source) task orders of up to $4.5 Million, including options, for Federal Civilian and Department of Defense activities.

V-TeN, an 8(a) Joint Venture with VersaTech and Impyrian, blends small business innovation and agility with large business infrastructure and resources to deliver compelling technical solutions at an exceptional value.

The 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resource for Services (STARS) III Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) – a/k/a “STARS III”, is a Multiple Award, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite- Quantity (MA-IDIQ) contract to provide information technology (IT) services and IT services- based solutions which may include the integration of ancillary support which is necessary and integral to the IT services being acquired. STARS III Master Contract awards are reserved exclusively for qualifying Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) prime contractors with competitive prices.

Contract Ordering Period: 07/02/2021 thru 07/01/2026 with one three-year option.

Task Order Performance can go 5 years beyond Contract ordering end date.

8(a) STARS III was awarded under NAICS: 541512, Computer Systems Design Services. Requirements that align with other IT services NAICS codes are within the scope of the STARS III GWAC. These NAICS codes include, but are not limited to 541511, 541513, 541519, 518210.

Directed awards allowed for orders up to the 8(a) Competitive Threshold.
